A Candidate for Emigration

Last week Gordon Brown was given a rapturous reception in making his speech to the American Congress. An insider close to him has divulged that he was so impressed by the reception that he immediately placed an application for a Green Card. The same source has revealed that Mr.Brown is totally disillusioned by the constant demonization of his character by the media in general back home, apparently the only thing G.B. is “sorry” about is leaving his beloved Great Britain.

The irony of the situation is that Gordon Brown has spent the last few months condemning America as the culprits who caused the financial melt-down Perhaps the New York Times, leaving political expediency aside, put things in perspective, in relegating the report on his speech to page twelve of their newspaper.
