Scotland—A Proud Nation?? Hail Caledonia..

PROLIFERATION OF THE UNION “RAG”.

I wonder if anyone else has noticed,what could be termed a cultural change,particularly in supermarkets;
Where almost the complete range of products on display are emblazoned with the Union Rag.Which leaves me left wondering if this is an “UNSUBTLE “effort by the powers that be to influence us into actually believing that the people south of the border regard themselves as being “BRITISH”.Alas, as I have previously stated, they would have to have a radical overhaul of their education system. It was not so long ago that almost all products were branded “MADE IN ENGLAND”.The more cheering news is that when we are Independent, this type of propaganda charade will prove
To be meaningless.

Scotland and Europe.

Two items of recent news have caught my attention.

1. Alex has announced that talks are proceeding with other European Nations on the subject of creating a European
Electricity Super-grid.This is long overdue, anything to halt the flow of “FREE”electricity to our neighbours down
South. There will be no problem with a future Independent Scotland sharing this grid with England, providing that
A fair system of recompense is agreed on.

2.Isolated Nation:-On searching the net I discovered that,at present,Scotland has “NO”direct ferry services with
the European Continent.Another example of how our country has been starved of Westminster funding over the
years.I would hope that a future Majority S.N.P.Government would treat this situation expeditiously. There are two
excellent ports on the Forth Rosyth & Leith, which I am sure with investment in the infrastructure would provide an
Independent Scotland with the vital facilities to enhance our trading links with our “IMPORTANT NEIGHBOURS”
On the Continent

Meanwhile I feel the temptation to “HIBERNATE”during this next fortnight,my friends in Scotland will appreciate the reason for this.Suffice to say that Union Rags I refer to will festoon everywhere you look Just a thought,I would hope
That all S.N.P.local authorities back home will be acting sensibly with the rate-payers money and not indulging in
The hysterics on display south of the border..
