A POT OF GOLD.

At the end of the rainbow

Neath the splendour of the mountain peaks white with snow

Nature has bestowed on Scotland another mineral prize

Which for the future, though limited in density

Will help in these times of austerity

To benefit the Nation on its own way back to prosperity

This time the precious mother lode

Will be utilized for the succour of the Scottish people alone

Not,as history shows, plundered by an alien society

Which acted as pirates of bygone years would have done
