Scotland—A Proud Nation?? Hail Caledonia..
WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER
Having borrowed Cameron’s metaphor, I would like to apply it to the Scottish situation. The following
Facts will reveal that there is a complete divergence of his principle as far Scots celebrities are concerned.
Leading this parade of less than “PATRIOTIC” natives of our country is Billy Connolly. His “VEHEMENT
RANTING ANTI-INDEPENDENCE” makes him one of the most “Dangerous Enemies” we face in our
Fight for our cause. It is patently obvious why I quote him at the top. He is closely followed by an array of
Talented individuals who unfortunately have chosen to place personal aggrandisement before their love and
Passion for the country they were born in. I deliberately ignore the extensive list of politicians, the list would
Be too long. However I will mention a few others (amongst the many) stars in their own right in various cultural activities:- Jackie Stewart motor racing
Rod Stewart singer (?)
Stephen Henry snooker
John Higgins snooker.
Colin Montgomery golf
Andy Murray tennis
Sam Torrance golf
The Scottish football & rugby teams?
Please add your names to the list.
I n the case of Connolly, we cannot afford to ignore the damage he is capable of inflicting, although like all
You good people, I respect the right to free speech; however we must be prepared to fight fire with fire.
SUGGESTIONS PLEASE????.

A separatist that does not live in Scotland, has no sense of the devolved settlement in Scotland, has no sense of what advantages Scots are getting in the union, such as free tuition fees, prescriptions, health care, higher education, and free elderly care, all of this thanks to the union and thanks to devolution!
ReplyDeleteYou would like Scotland to leave the union to then join the European Union, a European Union that has forced Ireland into the Lisbon treaty and burdened the British taxpayer with the job of bailing Greece, Ireland and Portugal out!
Also any new member state that joins the EU now must adopt the single currency, that is law! So our economy will be controlled by Brussels, and that is where they fix interest rates on behalf of the French and German economy and not for the other nations of the Euro Zone. In the UK we have the pound, where we it causes no barriers between trade throughout the United Kingdom, the bank of England takes into account every part of the UK when adjusting the interest rates, can't say the EU would give Scotland that sort of attention.
